EVICC

In collaboration with the Office of Energy and Climate Change (OECC) of the State Secretariat for Energy Transition, Transport and Mobility, this project studies the impact, vulnerability, and adaptability of the territory to the effects of climate change.

Based on the information available in Andorra for the characterization of the current and future climate [1], [2], [3], the project addresses a specific detailed analysis of the country's strategic sectors (i.e. energy [4], tourism [5], health and primary sector) through the definition and calculation of impact, vulnerability, exposure, and adaptation indicators to global change. In collaboration with key actors in the territory, a cross-cutting work is being carried out with the aim of developing indicators adapted to the specificities of each sector.

The results derived from this study are intended to help face future climatre change challenges in the territory and to achieve the objectives of Law 21/2018, of September 13, on the promotion of energy transition and climate change (Litecc).
