Vaive Logistics and Muvity, winners of the Andorra Living Lab Challenge

One start-up proposes an autonomous delivery vehicle and the other, a platform for physical rehabilitation

The start-ups Vaive Logistics, which is developing an autonomous delivery vehicle, and Muvity, which has devised a platform offering an accessible physical rehabilitation system, have won the two challenges included in the Andorra Living Lab Challenge, promoted by Andorra Research and Innovation (AR+I). The two startups were selected following a vote by attendees at Open Living Lab Days 2025, held this week in Andorra la Vella, and members of the AR+I Innovation Committee.

“We would like to thank AR+I for giving us the opportunity to present our project to the public, and we are very proud to have won the challenge in the mobility section”, said Albert Baldó, co-CEO and co-founder of Vaive Logistics. Baldó added that, for the Catalan startup, “based on our product, which is this automation of last-mile logistics, we want to demonstrate in a new location, such as Andorra la Vella, its functionality and the goal we are seeking, which is to reduce operating costs in the distribution sector”.

For his part, Muvity representative Marc Marot described the award as a "great opportunity to test our platform beyond our comfort zone, which right now is the Osona region and a few other places in Catalonia". Muvity contains exercises and exergames so that users can follow their rehabilitation in a fun way while maintaining the quality of treatment. “We believe that Andorra's small size will be an advantage in facilitating communication and reaching the right places to launch projects like ours”, added Marot.

As part of the Open Living Lab Days, the start-up Natudoo also presented its innovative solution which aims to promote social interaction, with technological support, to address people's isolation from nature.

The Andorra Living Lab Challenge is an open innovation program promoted by AR+I's Andorra Living Lab in collaboration with the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). Over the course of six months, startups and solutions were presented and selected that responded two challenges defined at the national level, one related to mobility and the other to healthy aging.

The three companies were able to participate in the Open Living Lab Days with expenses paid, in order to foster contacts, exchange ideas and projects, and present their solutions to those present. The two winners of the challenge will now have the opportunity to carry out a pilot test within the Andorra Living Lab at the national level with the support of AR+I and its national partners for the implementation of their products.
