INNTEC Days 2026: Research and Innovation Serving Health and Mobility
Andorra Research + Innovation (AR+I) took part in the 10th edition of the INNTEC Days, organised by ACTINN (Andorra’s Innovation and Technology Cluster), held on May 4th and 5th at the Andorra la Vella Congress Centre.
This special edition, marking the conference’s tenth anniversary, focused on two major areas of transformation: smart mobility on the one hand, and innovation in health and wellbeing on the other, within the framework of a Society 5.0.
These two major themes form part of the National Plan for Innovation and Diversification, through which public investment in innovation will increase from the current 1% to 8%, placing Andorra alongside benchmark countries such as Switzerland.
Throughout the conference, participants shared experiences and projects related to technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, connected infrastructures, digital health, biotechnology, and new care models linked to population ageing.
In this context, Aurora Crespo, Head of the Innovation Office at AR+I, took part in the round table discussion “Collaborative Innovation: the ecosystem as a driver of change”, contributing to the debate on the role of research, innovation, and cooperation between stakeholders in the sustainable development of Andorra, alongside leading figures such as Dr Mar Elvira, Head of the Innovation and Project Management Office of the Hospital Management of Bellvitge University Hospital and Viladecans Hospital; Núria Castany, Innovation and Business Development Project Manager at Biocat; and Dr Cristina Royo, Head of Research at SAAS.
Participation in INNTEC 2026 helped reinforce Andorra Research + Innovation’s commitment to knowledge transfer, collaboration with the innovation ecosystem, and the generation of social and economic impact in the country.
