AR+I collaborates in the II School Entrepreneurship Day, which doubles students and projects participation
Andorra Recerca + Innovació (AR+I) has participated as a collaborating entity in the II School Entrepreneurship Day of the Entrepreneurial and Innovative Schools Andorra's Network, a project promoted by the Andorra's Government. This network brings together schools from the different educational systems present in the country and works to make entrepreneurship and innovation a genuine competency within the classroom.
An educational network with a vision for impact
The Network of Entrepreneurial and Innovative Schools constitutes a space for cross-cutting collaboration between educational centres from the different systems present in the Principality. This year it has renewed its working methodology under the motto Dream Big, proposing a challenge to the students that they had to solve within a limited time frame following an entrepreneurial methodology.
The resulting projects demonstrate the students' ability to link academic learning with real-world challenges in areas such as technology, environmental sustainability, social innovation, and design.
The conference was moved forward from May to March to encourage broader participation, and the figures confirm the success of this decision: the number of participating students has rised from 29 to 50, and the projects presented increased from 12 to 20.
The conference featured the presentation of three projects:
Ecopirineu (EASE Ordino): the creation of a renewable energy consultancy firm aimed at providing sustainable solutions to small businesses.
Architectural Innovation (EASE Santa Coloma): the design of an architectural proposal for a fictional leisure space.
Level Up (CFP Aixovall): winner of the Tàndem 2026 award, with proposals to improve the experience of young skiers aged 15 to 25 in Grandvalira ski resort.
Oscar Araujo's talk
The conference also featured the talk "The Boy Who Fulfilled All His Dreams", delivered by composer, photographer, and filmmaker Òscar Araujo, based in Andorra.
Araujo has an extensive international career in the fields of video games, cinema, and advertising, with collaborations with companies such as Konami, Ubisoft, Universal, Apple, and Microsoft, recordings at world-renowned studios such as Abbey Road, and numerous international awards for his musical compositions.
AR+I's commitment to educational innovation
AR+I's support for the Network of Entrepreneurial and Innovative Schools of Andorra is part of the organisation's commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.
Strengthening these capabilities from the school stage is essential to building a solid and sustainable innovation ecosystem in Andorra.
