Andorra´s mineralizations

Andorra’s mineralizations are an important element of its geological, and even historical, heritage. For this reason, it is considered important to publicize and disseminate these deposits and the associated minerals.

As a result of this concern, an inventory has been prepared with representative samples of the mineralizations characteristic of the Principality. The inventory consists of thirty-three descriptive sheets, which include the location so that anyone interested can go and observe them in situ.

In addition, to complete the inventory, a brief description of the mineralizations genesis and the minerals that form them, as well as the enumeration of their main characteristics, has been included in this website.
